One of the
most common problems which affects people in all continents, but for which
there is no cure is allergies; this comes in different forms and finding out
the exact one and medicating it appropriately is the key to this treatment.
Diseases
like sinus problems, bronchitis, conjunctivitis and asthma are some of the few
diseases that are associated with allergies; many of these issues are caused by
pollution, dust, and allergens. Management of these immune-related issues is
usually done through allergy and
immunology and needs proper diagnosis and
treatment by trained and qualified immunologists.
Europe’s
biggest medical association conducting research in the field of allergy and clinical immunology is the EAACI or the European Academy of Allergy and
Clinical Immunology. They have around 9,000 members from 121+ countries and have
access to research and data from many national allergy societies worldwide.
This research has proved conclusively that immune issue like asthma varies from
patient to patient along with symptoms. However, pin-pointing the triggers for
asthma and similar respiratory illnesses are huge.
This
research into clinical immunology is handled by professional non-profit medical
institutions like the EAACI in the hope that they may find how and why
different kinds of allergic conditions affect millions of people worldwide.
Some of the most common immune issues are food and drug allergies, asthma,
conjunctivitis, etc. Current research shows that the best way to handle such
types of problems is early detection of the symptoms, appropriate management
and treatment with the best available medications.
